This stand matches the aluminum unibody Mac mini well and is attractively designed in its own right. It is very sturdy and easily supports a monitor without strain. The powered USB hub is very useful and seems to work well. The only detraction I have found is that some of the edges are a bit rough to the touch. I might have taken half a star off for this but since that isn't a choice and since I have no need to ever touch the edges, I didn't feel it was worth a larger deduction.

I had put off buying this stand because, let's be frank, it's not the cheapest stand around. I looked at other stands, even the cheaper, smaller model without USB ports and a slightly different design. To me, the USB ports are a must have. I have so many things that need to be connected I was constantly switching cords. With the addition of the four ports (you loose one on the computer) on the outside it makes connecting and using these ports simple.
One thing I wasn't sure about was the height that it raised the monitor. I'm still not comfortable with it, even though I do like the new height, I just need to get used to it. When it arrived today, I was a bit dismayed when I saw the USB ports required a USB to mini USB adapter. I was pleasantly surprised to open up the smaller box and see not only the power adapter, but a small, perfect length, USB to mini-USB adapter. I would HIGHLY recommend this stand. If you think it will meet your needs, it will exceed them.

Not Just for Mac Minis |

Bottom line: I ordered it and I couldn't be happier. Note: I'm using it as a riser for my iMac.
Design: Clean lines: looks like it could be made by Apple. The width is perfect to stow a wireless keyboard. I put a WD My Book 2TB under it. Almost enough room for two except the USB and power cords take up a couple inches prime real estate.
I'd love to a no-USB hub option but its presence wasn't a dealbreaker obviously.
Functionality: Stand by Mi is exceptionally well-made and solid
Marketing: I don't agree with the 25% "restocking" fee. If your return rate is so high that you feel compelled to charge 25% you've got a fundamental issue with expectations management
This is a well-made and worth the money.
And there you have it.
